Missionary Consultant Opportunities
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an equipping ministry team to enable leaders at ECWA Hospital Egbe to revitalize the hospital and develop high standards of health care delivery. Consultancy terms are 6 months-1 year and 2+ years.
Chief Medical Director/Family Doctor Consultant
The Chief Medical Director (CMD) Consultant, working alongside a Nigerian counterpart, will oversee all medical staff activities of the hospital. The CMD Consultant will be instrumental in assisting with upgrading medical equipment, providing training and staff development, and establishing best practices for patient care programs. The CMD Consultant will help oversee and teach in the Family Medicine Residency Program. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned doctor with a gift for leadership and teaching to have an impact on training and mentoring Nigeria's leading physicians through the Residency Program, and developing partnerships and training opportunities with other teaching facilities.

Director of Administration Consultant
Working with the Chief Medical Director, the Director of Administration Consultant will perform a "general manager" role, responsible for the day to day operating and administrative activities. He will work closely with the hospital accountant/auditor and secretary and oversee daily operations that impact administration, staffing, technology, evangelism, facilities management and systems throughout the various departments to bring more accountability and teamwork.

Head Nurse Consultant
The Head Nurse Consultant will work alongside the Nursing Director to help with system improvement in the areas of patient care and policy and procedure development. The Head Nurse Consultant will also be involved in teaching/training the hospital staff, performing clinical work and some supplemental classroom teaching in the Schools of Nursing and Midwifery.

Maintenance Manager Consultant
The Maintenance Manager will work with the Construction Manager and maintenance staff to implement standards and schedules, maintain all hospital buildings and assist with new buildings, and oversee the electrical and water supply. Many tools, machinery, and small equipment have been shipped to Egbe to support the maintenance work, along with two construction vehicles and a tractor for use by the maintenance and construction team.

General Surgeon
A General Surgeon is needed to perform general surgery alongside a team of Nigerian physicians in training; coordinating surgery services, including planning, scheduling and determination of procedures; providing consultation and instruction in preoperative and postoperative treatments and procedures; and managing surgical patients.
Physicians
Egbe Hospital cares for over 17,059 outpatients and inpatients annually. Physicians with experience in Family Medicine, Medicine, Pediatrics, and OB-GYN are needed to support the clinical and academic load.

Ophthalmologist
The hospital runs an Eye Center with a dedicated operating room and fully equipped examination rooms. The Center offers consultation services, surgical, eye screening and outreach services, and lens implants. The Ophthalmologist will assist in overseeing the Eye Center; giving guidance on improvement of eye care delivery, work with the Christian Blind Services to obtain supplies and equipment; provide instruction and evaluation to Nigerian optometrists and ophthalmologists in training; and facilitate recruitment of Nigerian ophthalmologists.
