It’s hard to put into words the deep gratitude the Egbe people express for the tremendous progress made by the Egbe Hospital Revitalization Project since inception. For much of the hospital team and the Egbe community, the hospital represents a sense of hope and offers a tangible demonstration of God’s love.
Recently, 96 people from Egbe participated in an annual outreach to several villages populated by people of the Yoruba, Hausa and Fulani tribes. The Egbe team provided free medical consultations and drugs to about 200 villagers, distributed welfare packages, and offered counselling and prayers. Participants included doctors and nurses from ECWA Hospital Egbe, as well as pastors, church leaders, and nursing students from ECWA School of Nursing, Egbe. What a privilege to extend hope beyond the hospital walls!
The Benevolent Fund has been established to assist the poorest of the poor who badly need medical care but can’t afford it. Egbe Hospital has been revitalized for this purpose. Would you prayerfully consider giving to the Benevolent Fund if you have never given financially before?
We are thrilled to report the Revitalization of the Nursing and Midwifery Schools is making progress in construction beyond our expectations! The schools will continue to prepare young Nigerians for a life of service in Christian healthcare for the next generation. Your gifts to the Revitalization Project are enabling this “Beacon of Hope and Healing” to serve a 100 mile radius populated with 300,000 living in villages and small towns.
