Spring of Life Counseling Center

Located on the hospital premises, the Center was founded as an SIM Project and is one of the approved sites by National Agency for Control of Aids (NACA)for Antiretroviral therapy and is actively involved in disease prevention and management. The center assists with screening, including pre and post-test counselling. Additionally, Spring of Life provides community training, education, and home care.

Spring of Life offers preventative services and holistic ministry to people living with HIV/AIDS.

  • Education/Counseling
    Prevention of HIV/AIDS, avoiding transmission, living with HIV/AID. Counseling before and after testing

  • Testing
    Three–stage HIV/AIDS testing for diagnosis, hospital referral, provision of ARV drugs

  • Monthly Support Group
    Providing support for people living with HIV/AIDS and their families

  • Home Care
    Personal visits for homebound people with HIV/AIDS, counseling, medication and hygiene care

  • Nutritional Support
    Annual distribution of food to HIV positive patients.

  • Outreach
    Presentations in schools, communities and churches for education and testing to reduce prevalence of HIV/AIDS

  • Training
    Training of volunteer workers for people living with HIV/AIDS
